DDA Extension of Payment Window for Shivaji Marg Housing Scheme Allottees
In a significant move to assist allottees of the Shivaji Marg Housing Scheme 2014 who failed to make timely payments for their flats, the competent authority has announced an extension of the payment window. Originally set for three months and closing on March 23, 2025, this period has now been extended to April 30, 2025. Allottees must deposit the outstanding amount as indicated in the Demand Allotment Letter (DAL), including applicable interest at a rate of 14% per annum from the end of the interest-free period until payment is made.
Additionally, allottees are required to pay any outstanding Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs) that have accrued since the issuance of the DAL, along with a penalty of 14% per annum and an interest charge of 10% per annum on the due amounts. Following the payment and completion of necessary formalities, possession of the flats will be granted to these allottees.
This opportunity is also extended to petitioners who previously contested the cost of the flats, as well as other allottees who did not pursue legal action. However, to benefit from this relaxation, allottees and petitioners must submit an undertaking confirming their acceptance of the revised cost and agree not to challenge it in any forum.
This decision has been issued with the approval of the Vice Chairman, reflecting a commitment to support beneficiaries in securing their housing.

CIRCULAR
Sub: – Extension of Time upto 30.04.2025 for depositing balance cost of flats with applicable Interest In respect of EWS flats at Shivaji Marg.
In order to provide last opportunity to the allottees of Shivaji Marg of Housing Scheme 2014 who were not able to make payment of his/her flats within stipulated time, the competent authority had decided to open a window of 3 months to allottees for depositing amount demanded in DAL along with applicable interest of 14% p.a. from the date of interest free period as per DAL till the date of payment.
1. The said window of 03 months for depositing the outstanding amount got over on 23.03.2025. Keeping in view the demand of the allottees for further extension of time, Competent Authority has further extended the said period upto 30.04.2025 for depositing the outstanding amount along with applicable interest. The allottees will also be required to pay the EMls due since issue of DAL along with the penalty@ 14% p.a. & interest thereon @ 10% p.a. (as per prevalent policy of interest) till the date of payment. These allottees shall pay the regular EMls thereafter as per DAL schedule.
2. After receipt of the above amount and completion of codal formalities , possession of the flat will be handed over to such allottees.
3. This last window of opportunity will also be available to the petitioners (who had challenged the cost) as well as other allottees who did not approach the court.
4. The aforesaid relaxation will be available to those allottees/petitioners who submit an undertaking that the revised/reduced cost of the flats is acceptable to them and he/she will not challenge cost of the flat at any forum.
