“CGHS EMPANELLED DENTAL CLINICS/HOSPITALS”
2163. SHRI C LALROSANGA:
Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) The total number of Private Dental Hospitals/ Dental Clinics empanelled with CGHS in North East;
(b) Whether the Government proposes to increase dental care facilities in the different cities/towns across the CGHS Wellness Centres in the North East;
(c) If so, the details thereof; and
(d) The response received from the Dental Hospitals/ Clinics in the North East for empanelment with CGHS?

(a) to (d) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is striving towards achieving Universal Health Coverage including Dental treatment, for all citizens, as per National Health Policy, through its various programs like Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY), Ayushman Arogya Mandir (erstwhile Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centre), Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (ABHIM), Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), and National Health Mission (NHM) through its Rural and Urban components. In addition, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati, Government Medical Colleges and District Hospitals are also functioning in North Eastern region to cater all the medical related needs.
The list of CGHS empanelled private Health Care Organizations, in North East region is available at Beneficiary Corner Tab of CGHS website ( https://cghs.gov.in/CghsGovIn/faces/ViewPage.xhtml ). Out of these, Marwari Hospital, Guwahati provides dental treatment at CGHS rates. Empanelment of Health Care Organizations under CGHS is voluntary and any hospital interested may apply under Empanelment Scheme. These are then considered for onboarding the CGHS panel, subject to fulfilment of terms and conditions of empanelment.
