LINKING AADHAAR WITH TICKET ,आधार को टिकट के साथ जोड़ा जाना

(क) जी नहीं। इंडियन रेलवे कैटरिंग एंड टूरिजम कॉर्पोरेशन (आईआरसीटीसी) यूजर आईडी (पहचान) को आधार नम्बर से जोड़ना ऐच्छिक है और आईआरसीटीसी के माध्यम से रेलवे टिकटों की बुकिंग करने के लिए यह किसी व्यक्ति के लिए अनिवार्य नहीं है। बहरहाल, यदि वे एक माह में 6 से अधिक टिकटों को बुक करना चाहते हैं तब आईआरसीटीसी यूजर आईडी के साथ अपना संबंधित आधार नंबर लिंक करना और यह सुनिश्चित करना आवश्यक है कि यात्री सूची में कम-से-कम एक यात्री की पृष्टि आधार के माध्यम से की जा सके।

(ख) से (3)  प्रारंभ में, यूनिक आइडेंटिफिकेशन ऑथोरिटी आफ इंडिया (यूआईडीएआई) डाटाबेस और आईआरसीटीसी के डाटाबेस में नाम का मेल न खाने के कारण उपयोगकर्ताओं को अपना आधार नंबर आईआरसीटीसी उपयोगकर्ता आईडी से लिंक करने के दौरान हुई असुविधा के बारे में उपयोगकर्ताओं से कुछ शिकायतें प्राप्त हुईं थी। इस मामले का समाधान कर लिया गया है और इस बारे में अब कोई शिकायत नहीं है।

(a)  No, Madam. Linking Aadhaar Number with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) User ID (Identity) is optional and not mandatory for individual users booking Railway tickets through IRCTC. However, if they want to book more than 6 tickets a month, then linking their respective Aadhaar number with the IRCTC User ID and ensuring that at least one of the passengers in the passenger list is verifiable through Aadhaar is necessary. 

(b) to (e)  Initially, some complaints were reported from users about the inconvenience faced while linking their Aadhaar Number with IRCTC User ID on account of mismatch in names in the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) database and the IRCTC database. This issue has since been resolved and there are no complaints on this account now.
