Central Register of Indian Medicine which contains the names of persons enrolled on the State Register of Indian Medicine

New Delhi, the 29th June, 2020
No. C.R.I.M/2019-Notification: – Whereas the Central Council of Indian Medicine has, in pursuance of Sub-Section (1) of Section 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) maintained a register as the Central Register of Indian Medicine which contains the names of persons enrolled on the State Register of Indian Medicine who possess any of the medical qualification recognized under the Act.

The CCIM shall maintain and revise the Central Register of Indian Medicine from time to time and publish it in the Gazette of India and in such other manner as may be prescribed. Such register shall be deemed to be a public document within the meaning of Indian Evidence Act 1872 (1 of 1872) and may be proved by a copy published in the Gazette of India.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of Sub-Section (2) of Section 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, the Registrar, Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi hereby revise the Central Register of Indian Medicine by publishing the names of persons enrolled in the State Register of the following State Board/Council since inception to the period as mentioned below in the table which is to be published in the Gazette of India for general information:-
The details of the first revised list of practitioners of the following State which have been included in the Central Register of Indian Medicine are hereby published.

Recognized qualifications and abbreviation thereof are included in the Schedules to the IMCC Act, 1970 and updated from time to time.

Note:- (1) Every care has been taken to compile the Central Register of Indian Medicine as per Section 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, and omission/correction, if any, be reported to the Registrar, Central Council of Indian Medicine, 61-65, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 for rectification of the same in the next publication of the Register.
(2) If there is any discrepancy between English and Hindi version, the English version is treated as final.
