Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Health Insurance Scheme (AB-MGRHIS) 2020-2021 is going to be launched by the Rajasthan government. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will start this revamped version of Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Rajasthan on 30 January 2021. Along with the complete health benefits of PM Jan Arogya Yojana, AB-MGRHIS will even include COVID-19, Hemodialysis benefits.

Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Health Insurance Scheme 2020-2021 is a mega National Health Protection Scheme for poor people. This is the revamped version of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in Rajasthan. ABMGRHIS will provide Rs. 5 lakh health insurance for secondary and tertiary hospitalization. Beneficiaries of AB-MGRHIS treatment would be cashless and paperless in all govt. and empanelled private hospitals.
All the insured people can make claims for treatment in all empanelled hospitals and avail treatment at NHPM treatment package rates. ABMGRHIS is applicable for all rural and urban beneficaries whose name appears in SECC-2011 Data. There will be No online application forms for this scheme. Anti fraud guidelines are also framed against people who demand money to provide insurance benefits.
People can visit any Health and Wellness Center to avail Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Health Insurance Scheme benefits. All the ABMGRHIS beneficiaries will be given family cards and arogya mitras will be trained for assistance.

The government’s ambitious AB-MGRHIS, that will pay up to Rs five lakh in hospitalisation costs to poor and vulnerable families, will also cover drugs and diagnostic expenses 3 days prior to and 15 days post hospitalisation.
