LINKING OF ROADS UNDER PM GATI SHAKTI

Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS be pleased to state:
(a) whether it takes a time of three to four hours to cover a distance of just 75 kilometres from Jalore district centre to Sirohi district centre due to dilapidated condition of road;
(b) if so, the remedial measures taken by the Government in this regard;
(c) whether the Government proposes to construct a link road under PM Gati Shakti to connect both the district centres from Swaroopganj to Krishnaganj Kalandreel Balut Mandali to Jalore district centre; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) Ministry is primarily responsible for the development & maintenance of National Highways. The roads from Jalore district centre to Sirohi district centre and from Swaroopganj to Krishanganj, Kalandreel, Balut, Mandali to Jalore are connected by roads constructed and maintained by the State Government, which is the responsibility of Government of Rajasthan as it is not a National Highway.
