DDA Extends Registration Deadline for “Sabka Ghar Awas Yojana 2025” and Announces Price Cuts
In a significant relief for low-income families in and around the national capital, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the registration deadline for its ambitious housing scheme, “Sabka Ghar Awas Yojana 2025.” The new registration deadline is now set for April 30, 2025, allowing prospective homebuyers until midnight to register for affordable flats under the scheme.
Price Reduction on Low-Income Group Flats
In addition to the extended registration period, the DDA has announced a direct 25% price reduction on its Low Income Group (LIG) flats. The starting price of these flats has been slashed to just Rs 13.30 lakh, making homeownership more accessible for economically weaker sections and lower-middle-class families in Delhi.
According to details available on the DDA’s official website, there are 624 LIG flats in Siraspur, each measuring between 35.76 square meters and 36.39 square meters. Previously priced between Rs 17.41 lakh and Rs 17.71 lakh, these flats are now available at discounted rates ranging from Rs 13.30 lakh to Rs 13.55 lakh.
In Loknayakpuram, the DDA is offering 204 flats that range in size from 42 to 44.46 square meters. These flats were originally priced between Rs 26.98 lakh and Rs 28.47 lakh, but the new prices range from Rs 20.20 lakh to Rs 21.40 lakh after the discount.
Locations of Siraspur and Loknayakpuram
Siraspur is situated in the northern part of Delhi, near areas like Rohini and Khera Kalan, and is well-connected to the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro, facilitating easy daily commutes. Loknayakpuram, located near Tikri, Najafgarh, and Nangloi, offers convenient access to the Green Line of the Delhi Metro. Both regions boast decent infrastructure, improving connectivity, and growing public amenities, making them ideal for affordable urban living.
Extension for Shramik Awas Yojana
In addition to the Sabka Ghar Awas Yojana, the DDA has also extended the registration deadline for the “Shramik Awas Yojana 2025” until April 30. This decision reflects the authority’s commitment to expanding the reach of affordable housing and ensuring that more people can benefit from these citizen-friendly initiatives.
This combined effort by the DDA is expected to significantly ease the housing burden on low-income families, providing them with better opportunities for homeownership in the capital.
