Subject: Launch of the CBSE Parenting Calendar for Academic Session 2025-26-reg.
Dear Principals,
Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s emotional, social, and academic development. While schools provide knowledge and skills essential for growth, the home environment lays the foundation for resilience, creativity, and critical thinking. A strong collaboration between parents and educators fosters an environment where children can explore their potential and thrive holistically.
To further strengthen this collaboration, CBSE is pleased to announce the launch of the CBSE Parenting Calendar for the academic session 2025-26. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to promote student well-being by empowering schools, educators, and parents to recognize and nurture each child’s unique strengths.
This framework aims to:
- Strengthen parent-teacher partnerships
- Promote open dialogue
- Enhance student outcomes for holistic development
By implementing this calendar, schools can expect to:
- Foster collaborative relationships between parents and students.
- Ensure consistent communication, creating a cohesive support system for students
The Parenting Calendar will include structured orientations, meetings, and initiatives to facilitate meaningful engagement between schools and parents. It will provide recommendations for effective interactions and encourage ongoing collaboration to ensure student growth and well-being.
The official launch of the CBSE Parenting Calendar will take place on the CBSE official YouTube channel as per following schedule:
- Date & Day : 28 March 2025 (Friday)
- Time : 4:00 PM (IST)
