Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:

(a) the objectives of the “Bal Raksha Mobile App” launched by the Government;

(b) whether the Government has made any arrangements for publicity of the said Mobile Application as well as to make all parents aware about its use across the country particularly in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir; and

(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) “Bal Raksha Mobile App” is launched by All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi, an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The Main objective of “Bal Raksha Mobile App” is to collect data regarding changes in Health Status and Morbidity pattern in children (Age 1-16 years) after administration of Balaraksha Kit. Balaraksha kit is a set of Ayurveda Medications (Anu Taila, Chyawanprash, Samshamani Vati, and Syrup Ayush Bala Kwatha).

(b) & (c)         Presently the advertisement of Bal Raksha Mobile App for information of Parents is done through All India Institute of Ayurveda website – www.aiia.gov.in. Various Institutions/NGOs across the country are actively involved in “Balaraksha Kit” distribution on one to one request basis.   This app is available for free download through Google Play store.
