CIRCULAR
Subject: Policy/Guideline to deal with the cases in which applicant deposited the payment in wrong head.
In order to dispose/settle the cases of Housing department in which applicant has deposited the demanded amount in wrong head instant of correct head, the following course of action shall be followed:
I. Applicant may be asked to furnish an indemnity bond for the transfer entry of challan/payment to the requisite head.
2. Approval of transfer entry from wrong head to correct head may be permitted with the prior approval of Commissioner(H) where the amount involved is upto Rs. 10 Lakhs and with the approval of PC(H) where the involved involved is more than Rs. 10 Lakhs with the concurrence of FA(H) in both the cases.
This issue with the approval of Pr. Commissioner (H) in e-office file no. 75920.
