OLD AGE PENSION, WIDOW PENSION AND DISABLED PENSION

1353. SHRI BHAJAN LAL JATAV:

Will the Minister of SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT be pleased to state:

(a) the details of funds released under old age pension, widow pension and disabled pension heads in Rajasthan during the last one year;

(b) the number of beneficiaries under each of the said pension categories;

(c) the number of pending cases for grant of pension Category-wise along with the reasons therefor; and

(d) the time by which the said pending cases are likely to be resolved along with the details thereof?

(a) to (b): As per the information provided by the Ministry of Rural Development and the State Government of Rajasthan, the details of funds released and beneficiaries covered under old age pension, widow pension and disabled pension heads in Rajasthan under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) during the last one year i.e. 2023-24 is as given below:

(c) & (d): As per NSAP guidelines of Ministry of Rural Development, the identification of beneficiary is the responsibility of the respective State/Union Territory. Ministry of Rural Development allocates funds to the States/Union Territory as per State Cap or digitized number of beneficiaries on NSAP portal, whichever is lower.

As per the information received from the State Government of Rajasthan, all pension applications received online on Pension portal are disposed-off within 45 days. As on date, there is no pendency.
