(SHRI KAMLESH PASWAN)

(a): The Government had approved 1,25,000 Km length under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana- III (PMGSY-III) in July, 2019, out of which, 1,21,896 km length has been sanctioned to the States/Union Territories till 4th December, 2024.

(b): The funds for implementation of PMGSY are released to the States/ UTs on the basis of the proposals received from them, and depend, inter-alia, on works in hand, execution capacity and unspent funds with State. Further release of funds to the Programme Implementation Units (PIUs) at the district level is done by the respective State Governments depending upon the absorption capacity of the PIUs. Parliamentary Constituency wise details of the PMGSY fund are not maintained by the Ministry. The details of the funds utilized, State-wise, district-wise and year-wise under various interventions of PMGSY may be accessed at the program website omms.nic.in=>progress monitoring=>MPR 1. The details of the fund released since inception under various interventions of PMGSY may be seen at Annexure.

(c): The constituency wise details are not maintained under PMGSY. The Osmanabad Parliamentary Constituency of Maharashtra comprises three districts namely Latur, Osmanabad and Solapur. The status of sanctioned proposal in above districts as on 4th December, 2024 are as under:-

Vertical Sanctioned Completed Balance*
Roads (Nos.) Length (km) Bridges (Nos.) Roads (Nos.) Length (km) Bridges (Nos.) Roads (Nos.) Length (km) Bridges (Nos.)
Latur 228 854.64 69 212 798.09 60 16 56.22 9
Osmanabad 166 700.76 61 152 631.92 53 14 67.92 8
Solapur 348 1678.74 21 328 1558.06 19 20 108.40 2

*Balance road length is less than the difference of sanctioned and completed length due to the reasons that some projects were completed with less than the sanctioned length due to reduction in road length, change in alignment, construction of part length by other agencies, etc. The balance works are under various stages. The timeline for completion of works under PMGSY/RCPLWEA is March, 2025.

(d): The Government had approved Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojana- III (PMGSY-III) in July, 2019 for consolidation of 1,25,000 Km Through Routes and Major Rural Links connecting habitations, inter-alia, to Gramin Agricultural Markets (GrAMs), Higher Secondary Schools and Hospitals.
