Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether all citizens above the age of 70 years in the country have been covered under ABPMJAY and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether cards have been issued to all the said beneficiaries;

(c) the details of numbers of beneficiaries under the said Yojana, State-wise;

(d) whether the Government proposes to reduce the age limit from 70 years to 60 years under this scheme; and

(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e): Presently, all members of the eligible families irrespective of age are covered under Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. States/UTs implementing the scheme have further expanded the beneficiary base at their own cost. As on 20.07.2024, approximately 34.7 crore Ayushman cards have been created across the country. State/UT-wise details of number of eligible families under the scheme are at Annexure.
