Dear Principal
Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Gujarat has launched STEM Quiz 3.0 in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for school students at India level. This is a unique platform to encourage quiz-based learning. This quiz will give the school students’ knowledge and experience to become a more vigilant, scientifically aware and better citizen. The Quiz will promote learning by quizzing methodology which will help students build a thought process and problem-solving skills.
The Gujarat STEM Quiz 3.0 is for school students studying in classes IX to XII across the country. The registration process is in online mode through the website https://stemquiz.gujarat.gov.in/
The first round of STEM Quiz will be held in online mode. The further details of the program will be communicated to all registered participants. The final round of the Gujarat STEM Quiz 3.1 will be held at Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. The winner students will also get the opportunity to participate in the bootcamps at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar as well as visit premier scientific institutes such as Science City, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Ahmedabad; Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Jodhpur and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai as part of this program. The program will be viewed by the entire academic horizon of the nation which will give a broader outreach among the next generation learners.
You are requested to disseminate the above information among students of your school and encourage them to participate in Gujarat STEM Quiz 3.0. The participation in the Quiz is purely on voluntary basis.
