Fit India Week is a major program of the Fit India Movement, which emphasises the importance of health and fitness among the students, parents and teachers.
This year, the Fit India Week is to be celebrated between 15.11.2023 and 15.12.2023. During this time period, the schools can choose a week at their convenience and organize various sports and fitness activities in that week. The suggested activities for the Fit India Week are as follows:
1. Annual Sports Day
2. Importance of Fitness: Debate, Quiz, Essay Writing Competition, Poster Making Competition
3. Indigenous Games
4. Fitness Assessment through Fit India Mobile App
5. Yoga and Meditation
6. Fitness Pledge by teachers, students and their parents
