MHADA Allocates 5,863 Flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has made a significant announcement, revealing the allocation of 5,863 flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad for citizens from diverse income groups. Applications for these flats will be accepted until September 26, with the draw scheduled for October 18.

The distribution includes 403 flats under MHADA’s housing scheme, 431 under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 344 flats under the social housing scheme (reserved at 15%), 2,445 flats under the first-come, first-served priority scheme, and 2,445 flats under the comprehensive housing scheme (reserved at 20%). This information was confirmed by Ashok Patil, Chief Officer of MHADA Pune Division.

To apply for these flats, applicants are required to submit proofs such as the Domicile Certificate, Income Proof, and, if applicable, the certificate of belonging to a reserved category, alongside their online application. The scrutiny of these applications will also be conducted online. 

Interested applicants should first visit www.mhada.gov.in or https://mhada.gov.in to submit their online housing allocation applications. MHADA has also encouraged applicants to register for the scheme’s flats based on the first-come, first-priority basis at the lottery.mhada.gov.in website.
