National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is a premier, specialist, autonomous and self-sustained testing organization, under the Ministry of Education, Govt of India. It conducts entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) Examination September 2023, for inductee teachers.

Brief details of the exam are given below:

Date of the test

16, 17, 21 and 22 September 2023

Duration

3 hour (180 minutes)

Timings

Exam will be held in two shifts each day.

SHIFT- 1 (10:00AM – 1:00PM) SHIFT- 2 (2:30PM – 5:30PM)

Pattern of the test

Objective Type Test comprising 100 Multiple Choice
Questions

Mode of conducting the exam

Online (Internet Based)-Remote Proctored.

Candidates are not required to visit any exam centre for
appearing in the exam. They can take the exam from their
location on their laptops/PCs.

Issue of Admit Cards

Admit cards will be displayed on the NTA
website https://nittt.nta.ac.in/on 05 September 2023.

Date and timing of webinar

12 September 2023 (Tuesday) From 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Date and timing of the mock test

14 September 2023 (Thursday) From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Specific details on how to attend the webinar and appear in the mock test will be provided to the candidates through the Admit Cards and through emails sent to their registered email addresses.

Rules to be followed for the Online Proctored Exam are:

1. Candidates are expected to maintain the sanctity and integrity of the exam and not resort to any unfair means.
2. The Exam is remotely proctored. Candidates are advised to note that they will be under invigilation by Human Proctors during the exam, who will monitor their movements, including those on their screen.
3. At any point of  time during the exam, if the Proctor finds any suspicious eye movements or any suspicious activities in the exam environment, candidate can be asked by the Proctor through Chat, to turn the Laptop/Webcam to show his/her surroundings. Warning on Chat shall appear on the candidate’s console on suspicious behaviour. If the candidate does not follow the instructions even after repeated warnings from the Proctor, the exam can be terminated for the Candidate by the Proctor. Candidates are required to keep a check on the chat window for any communication from the Proctor.
4. Candidates are not allowed to keep any sheets of papers for noting down anything or for doing any rough work.
5. Candidates will be permitted to keep the following items with them during the exam:
  • i. Admit Card
  • ii. Valid ID proof
  • iii. Drinking water in a transparent water bottle.
