Will the Minister of  FISHERIES, ANIMAL  HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING मत्स्यपालन, पशुपालन और डेयरी मंत्री be pleased to state:
performance_under_pradhan_mantri_matsya_sampada_yojana
(a) whether the Government of Andhra Pradesh has submitted a proposal to avail assistance under the Centrally sponsored component of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana for the year 2023-24;
(b) if so, the proposed budget by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for implementing the yojana;
(c) the details of targets that have been set by the State Government in the submitted proposal and whether such proposals have been received in previous years;
(d) if so, the budget allocated for the purpose and the targets set by the Government of Andhra Pradesh under different components;
(e) whether the Union Government has audited the performance of the State Government under the yojana before disbursing funds for the following year; and
(f) if so, the performance of the State Government thereunder, component-wise?

(a) to (d): The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAH&D), Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) during the last three financial years has accorded approvals to the fisheries development proposals of Government of Andhra Pradesh at a total cost of Rs.2260.93 crore against the total allocation of Rs.1955.00 crore for five years. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has submitted fisheries developmental proposal to the tune of Rs.609.91 crore under the PMMSY during the year 2023-24. Under PMMSY, assistance has been provided for
 
taking up of various fisheries and aquaculture activities as per demand of the State Government such as construction of fishing harbours and fish landing centres, establishment of integrated aqua park, brood bank, supply of deep sea fishing vessels for traditional fishermen, sea cages, rafts and monoline/tubenet for seaweed cultivation, stocking of fingerlings in reservoirs, freshwater finfish and brackish water fish/shrimp hatcheries, construction of ponds for aquaculture, Re-circulatory Aquaculture Systems (RAS) units, retail fish markets and fish kiosks, cold storages/Ice plants, Feed Mills, value added enterprise units, fish transport units (including insulated vehicles, live fish vending centres, motor cycle with ice boxes and three wheelers with ice boxes), bio-toilets for mechanised fishing vessels, disease diagnostic and quality testing laboratories and mobile laboratories/clinics, communication and/or tracking devices for traditional and motorised vessels, boats (replacement) and nets for traditional fishermen, livelihood and nutritional support for socio-economically backward active traditional fishers’ families during fishing ban/lean period and engagement of Sagar Mitras.
(e): The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying is reviewing the progress of the approved activities under PMMSY on regular basis and central funds are released based on the 75% utilization of the previous instalments on submission of physical and financial progress report.
(f): Component-wise performance of the approved activities under PMMSY during last three years as reported by Government of Andhra Pradesh furnished at Annexure-I.
