(b) & (c): No, Sir. Since inception of the scheme, the placement percentage of trained youth in North Eastern states is 53.6 per cent (which is more than 50 per cent).
(d) The drop-out rate in DDU-GKY, as on date, is only less than 6 per cent, however, no study has been conducted so far for knowing the reasons.
All courses provided under DDU-GKY are approved by National Skills Qualifications Committee  (NSQC)  of National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The course selection is done by the Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) based on employment potential post-training.
