Declaration of Supplementary Examination Results. Class XII, 2023
It is informed that the result of the Supplementary Examination, Class XII session 2022-2023 is ready for declaration at 02.00 P.M. on Tuesday 1st August 2023.

PRESS RELEASE
CLASS XII RESULT FOR SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS-2023
DATE: 01.08.2023
As per the recommendations made by NEP-2020 , CBSE has conducted Supplementary Examinations , 2023 for giving another opportunity for the students to improve their performance in the following categories :
- i) Students who were placed in the Compartment Category due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 01 subject out of 05 mandatory subjects.
- ii) The students with six subjects who were declared passed by replacing the main subjects from the additional subject due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 01 main subject.
- iii) The students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance. Earlier students were allowed to improve their performance only next year during the main examination.
Main Highlights
- i) The supplementary examinations of all the subjects of class XII were conducted on 171h July 2023 across the nation and in 26 countries abroad.
- ii) CBSE has declared the result within a fortnight by working in such a manner to avoid inconvenience to the above mentioned categories of candidates so that their admission in the higher/professional courses could be considered based on their performances in supplementary examinations.
- iii) The marksheet cum passing certificate of the regular students will be sent to their schools and for the private candidates, their marksheet cum passing certificate will be sent to their examination centers in Delhi and in other cities to the address given by the candidates in the application forms .
- iv) Results are already available in the Digilocker of the students.
- v) The verification process will start on 3rd August 2023. The circular in this regard will be issued shortly.
