Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the number of Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre established in the country, State/UT-wise and specifically in Pratapgarh, Deoria and Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh, Pali district of Rajasthan and Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh;
(b) the total number of Ayushman Bharat Health accounts created, State/UT-wise and specifically in said districts;
(c) whether the Government is taking steps to disseminate the information about the said Scheme to the citizens; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b). As on 24.07.2023, a total of 1,60,480 Ayushman Bharat – Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs) have been operationalized in India by upgrading existing SHCs and PHCs to deliver Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) that includes preventive, promotive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative services which are universal, free, and closer to the community.
As on 24.07.2023, a total 43,27,71,870 ABHA Numbers have been created.
State/UT-wise details of AB-HWC operationalised alongwith details of ABHA Numbers created as on 24.07.2023 is at Annexure.
Details of AB-HWCs in Pratapgarh, Deoria & Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh, Pali district of Rajasthan and Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh alongwith details of ABHA Numbers created as on 24.07.2023 in these districts are as under.

(c) & (d): Ayushman Health melas are ‘one-stop’ platforms to address a comprehensive range of health issues have proven to be an effective strategy to reach the masses and augment the utilization of healthcare services. Melas held at the level of AB-HWCs to optimize utilization of health care services and generate awareness. The expected outcomes of these melas/ camps are increased access to specialized care, strengthen continuum of care, building the trust between the community and the health system, improved health-seeking behaviour and health literacy in the community.
