Sub: Inviting Online Applications for National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2023 for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)- Reg.
The National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) and inviting Online Applications of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State University/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2023-24.
Applications for National Common Entrance Test
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducted the National Common Entrance Test [NCET]- 2023 in 178 Cities and in 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the Academic Session 2023-24 as per the schedule given below:

Medium of Examination:
Medium of the Question Papers: Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the NCET 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu

The  Candidates  are  advised  to  visit  the  official  websites  of  NTA  (www.nta.ac.in)  and (https://ncet.samarth.ac.in/) for the latest updates.
The list of Languages, Domain Specific Subjects, and General Test covered in NCET 2023 is given in Annexure I.
A  List  of  Central/State  Universities/Institutions  including  IITs,  NITs,  RIEs,  and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2023-24 is given in Annexure II.
Note: Candidates who will be appearing in NCET 2023 will participate in the Counselling/admission process of any Central/State University / Institution (IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Govt. Colleges) which have been granted recognition by NCTE for ITEP for the academic session 2023-24. University/ Institution /Govt. College may fill up the vacant seats thereafter from the pool of NCET-qualified candidates.
Important Instructions:

1. Candidates must carefully read the Instructions (including how to fill up the Application Form online) given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
2. Candidates should apply for NCET 2023 through the “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
3. Submission of the Application Form could be made by the candidate online through the NTA website: https://ncet.samarth.ac.in/ (Access is also available through the NCTE website (https://ncte.gov.in) to reach to NTA website for NCET 2023 online application.)
4. Instructions for filling the Online Application Form:
  • Before starting to fill the application form candidates are advised to read the Prospectus displayed on the website of the NTA / NCTE / University / Institution / Government College where admission is sought and be clear about the courses offered by them, seats available, eligibility as regards age, passing/appearing in qualifying exam, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, relaxation thereof, reservation, admission procedure, etc before applying for the NCET 2023, as Universities have their own specific requirements for admission to specified courses (discipline/stage). NTA will not entertain the corrections sent by the candidate through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/E-mail/by Hand.
  • Download the Information Bulletin and Replica of the Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.
