Flats presently available for allotment through draw Delhi Development Authority

NO. 3723. SHRI THIRUNAVUKKARASAR SU:

Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) the number of flats presently available with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for allotment through draw, type-wise;

(b) whether the Government has recently approved modification and relaxation in DDA’s housing regulations for the owners of small flats or plots in Delhi to apply for the allotment of newly constructed/unsold flats offered by the DDA;

(c) if so, the details thereof along with the categories of people/entities eligible to apply for the same; and

(d) the time by which the above proposal is likely to be implemented?

(a): Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has informed that the flats presently available for allotment through draw, type-wise respectively are HIG-386, MIG-1,321, LIG-31,143, Janata-389 and EWS-7,361.

(b) to (d): Yes, Sir. DDA (Management and Disposal of Housing Estates) Regulations, 1968 have been amended vide Gazette Notification S.O. 753(E) dated 17th February 2023. The details of categories of people/entities eligible to apply for the newly constructed unsold vacant flats are available in the said Gazette Notification (https://egazette.nic.in/WriteReadData/2023/243701.pdf). The proposal stands implemented with effect from 17th February, 2023.
