Pucca houses earmarked to be constructed in Satara district under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana

Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:

(a) the number of the pucca houses earmarked to be constructed in Satara district under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G);

(b) the number of pucca houses constructed in Satara district during the last three years; and

(c) the number of pucca houses proposed to be constructed in Satara district of Maharashtra in the year 2023 under the said yojana?

(a) Under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), the targets are yearly earmarked among the States/UTs, which in turn distribute it among the beneficiaries located in various districts. Since inception of PMAY-G i.e. 01.04.2016 till 02.02.2023, the Ministry has allocated a total target for construction of 14,71,359 houses to the State of Maharashtra under PMAY-G, out of which the State has allocated target for construction of 16,199 houses in Satara district.

(b) A total of 3,077 pucca houses have been constructed in Satara district during the last three years i.e. from financial year 2019-20 to 2021-22 under PMAY-G.

(c) Out of total target of 16,199 houses allocated to Satara, 10,247 houses have already been constructed and the remaining 5,952 houses are targeted to be constructed by March, 2024.
