1. Government e Marketplace (GeM) invites applications for the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to be filled on deputation basis.

2. The job descriptions of the post and other details are given in Annexure-1. The initial period of deputation shall be for five years , further extendable by two years subject to approval of competent authority or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders whichever is earlier. The deputation shall be under Foreign Service terms and conditions .

3. All appointees shall be deemed to be Public Servants for the purpose of the CCS (Conduct) Rules and such other Statutes as notified by the Government from time to time.

4. The crucial date  for  determining  the  eligibility  will  be  the  last  date  of  receipt of applications . No applications shall be entertained under any circumstances after the stipulated Time I date. Incomplete applications and applications received after the stipulated time I date shall be rejected.

5. All applicants from Government service including from CPSE must submit their applications by filling the application form in Annexure-11 along with a copy of their resume and no objection certificate from Competent Authority I Cadre controlling authority to hr­-head-gem@gem .gov .in latest by 30 November , 2022.

 

6. GeM reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interview. Applicants should note that mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria may not ensure consideration for short listing for interview. GeM will not entertain any correspondence on this subject  and decisions of GeM will be final in all matters.

7. Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment I selection process or after joining, if any information provided by the applicant is not found in conformity with the eligibility criteria notified or if GeM comes across any evidence I knowledge that the qualification, experience and any other particulars indicated in application I other forms I formats are not recognized I false I misleading and I or amounts to suppression of information I particulars which should have been brought to the notice of GeM.
