Bhasha Sangam Mobile App under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

Madam/ sir,

In   continuation    to   this   office   letter   No   F.11029 /64- l / 2020 / KVS(HQ) / Acad/ AKAM dated 13.12.2021 , it was informed that Hon’ble Minister of Education has launched the booklets based on  100 sentences  and  a Bhasha  Sangm  Mobile  Appp  on  1st November  2021 under Ek Bharat  Shrestha Bharat Programme with the objective of familiarizing every child with simple sentences in  all the 22 languages under Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India, taking u p at least one  language on each working day, to enhance linguistic tolerance and promote national integration.

To facilitate listening, comprehension and speaking of Indian languages scheduled in the Consitution of India, the Bhasha Sangam bookets are prepared in line with NEP Provisions and presented in such a way that children in school will be able to read  in the Indian Languages, in devnagri script in roman script and translations into Hindi and English and in audio and Video form with Indian Sign Language.

Further Ministry of Education has developed the EBSB APP for both Android and Ios Platforms. Hence, it is also requested to inform the students of Kendriya Vidyalayas to make aware of the app. The students may also learn to choose the language of their paired state/ UTs, which will help them during their visits to the paired states being held as a part of EBSB- AKAM.

Hence, it is requested to circulate this information to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas under the region and ensure the participation of students in enhancing the multingual skills of students through this Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat initiative and encourage the students to download and use the apps and make Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat as well as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav a huge success.
