Government of India has started inviting applications under the several components of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) scheme. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries in a statement released a few days ago (June 21). PMKSY, a Central Sector Scheme, which was earlier known as Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters (SAMPADA), was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) in 2017.
