Rajasthan Housing Board to complete building MLA flats by Aug
The eight-storied towers have been constructed and the officials claimed that a 6-lakh sq feet roof has been cast in record time of five months. RHB commissioner, Pawan Arora said, the construction of basement and (G+8) structure work in all six residential towers of the project has been completed. The finishing works, internal and external such as laying pipelines, electricity work, woodwork etc are in progress.
“A total amount of Rs 130 crore has been received from Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) till April-2022 and the same has been utilised for the project. The work is being done at a fast pace and construction will be completed within the stipulated time frame,” said Arora.
Each flat will measure 3,200 square feet and comprise four bedrooms, a drawing room, a kitchen and a room for domestic help.
As per previous design, the JDA had proposed 176 flats. However, the idea did not go down well with the committee overseeing the project as the open area was less. Now, 16 flats have been reduced in the project to develop a central lawn measuring approximately 37,000 square metre. An official said, “Total green area and roads area in the project is 22.66 percent. A traditional heritage look will be given to the building to sync it with assembly building, which has Jaipur pattern chatri and ornamental work.”
RHB has earmarked parking for 1,200 vehicles and a 12-room guest house. An official said the revenue earned after selling the land at Lal Kothi and Jalupura will be utilised to construct the apartments.
