Will the Minister of MINORITY AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the details of Post-Matric Scholarships given to minority students, fund allocation, actual expenses and the number of beneficiaries during the financial years 2015 to 2021, religion-wise; and
(b) the details of Merit-cum-Means Scholarships given to minority students, fund allocation, actual expenses and the number of beneficiaries during the financial years 2015 to 2021, religion-wise?

(a) & (b): After 2014-15, 5.20 crore scholarships have been disbursed throughout the country compared to 3.03crore scholarships before 2014-15. The religion-wise details of Scholarships sanctioned to minority students under the Post-Matric and Merit-cum- Means based Scholarship Schemes during the financial years 2014-2015 to 2021-2022 along with the total amount sanctioned and disbursed under these Schemes directly to the beneficiary accounts under DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode during the said period is given in the table below:
