Scholarship scheme for Indian Students

Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has implemented any scholarship/grant scheme for Indian students travelling abroad for higher studies;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the number of students who have benefitted therefrom in the country including Bihar during the last three years, State/UT-wise and year-wise?

(a) to (c): The Ministry of Education provides financial aid to Indian students for higher studies in India. Moreover, based on requests received from friendly foreign countries/institutions, the Ministry of Education disseminates information on scholarships offered by such donor countries for Indian students to study abroad. The details are available on the Ministry’s website https://www.education.gov.in/scholarships.
