GOLDEN CARDS UNDER AYUSHMAN BHARAT YOJANA

Will the Minister of Health and Family Welfare be pleased to state:
(a) whether the golden cards have been issued under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana in all States of the country, if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise;
(b) the benefits extended to beneficiaries under the golden card during the last three years, State- wise and beneficiary-wise;
(c) whether the beneficiaries have been issued the said golden card in Rajasthan also;
(d) if so, the district-wise number of cards issued and if not, the reasons for not issuing the card;
(e) whether the Government proposes to extend benefits of Ayushman Yojana to the eligible beneficiaries in the State of Rajasthan to enable them to get treatment under the scheme outside the State; and
(f) ) if so, the time by which it is likely to be implemented and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) ) to (f): State/UT-wise details of Ayushman cards are at Annexure-I.
As of 31st January 2022, approximately 2.81 crore hospital admissions worth Rs. 31,918 crore are authorized under the scheme. State/UT-wise details thereof are at Annexure-II.
In Rajasthan, Ayushman Bharat –Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) is implemented in convergence with the States’ health insurance scheme. To avail benefits under the converged scheme, eligible beneficiary families can use their existing Jan Aadhaar cards. As of 31st January 2022, Jan Aadhaar cards are issued to approximately 1.34 crore families. The district- wise number of families provided with Jan Aadhaar cards are at Annexure – III.
Integration of National Health Authority (NHA)’s IT platform with State’s IT system enables portability feature of the scheme.
