Bihar Har Ghar Bijli Yojana Online Registration Form 2021 and application status at hargharbijli.bsphcl.co.in. Har Ghar Bijli is a new scheme under the 7 Nischay Yojana launched by the state government of Bihar. The state government has directed the agencies and officials to implement the schemes on priority basis. Now all those people who wants to apply for a new electricity connection can now do it so through the official BSPHCL E-Corner Online portal.

• Firstly visit the official BSPHCL E-Corner Online Portal at http://hargharbijli.bsphcl.co.in/
• At the homepage, click at the “Consumer Suvidha Activities” or directly click http://hargharbijli.bsphcl.co.in/SuvidhaConsumerActivities.aspx
• Then at the opened page, click at the “नए विधुत सम्बन्ध हेतु आवेदन करें” link to open the name of DISCOMs as either South Bihar Power DISCOM Apply online or North Bihar Power DISCOM Apply Online.
• On the next page, enter the mobile number, select district name and then click at “Generate OTP” button.
• Then the New Electricity Connection Online Application Form will appear.
• Fill in all the details in the Bihar Har Ghar Bijli Yojana online application form and submit it.

• Here applicants can enter request number and click at “View Status” button to track Har Ghar Bijli Yojana Application Status.

• Here applicants can enter the Request Number and click at the “Get OTP” button to modify Har Ghar Bijli Yojana Form.

• Then the Har Ghar Bijli Yojana Login page will open.
• Here applicants can enter USER ID, Password, Code and click at “Login” button to make Har Ghar Bijli Yojana Login.

The main objective of the Har Ghar Bijli Yojana is to provide free electricity connections to each and every home in the state. The households which do not have an electricity connection till yet will be included under the scheme. The state government aimed to provide electricity connections to 50 Lakh households under the Har Ghar Bijli Scheme. The Har Ghar Bijli Yojana was the last of the 7 schemes to be launched under the Seven Nischay schemes. About 50% of APL (Above Poverty Line) families in rural Bihar who does not have electricity connections will be covered under the free electricity connection scheme. The BPL families in the state are already being covered under the Central Government’s Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.

The connections under the scheme would be provided for free, no charges will be taken from the beneficiaries. However, the electricity consumption bill will have to be paid by the beneficiaries as usual. In case, someone does not want to take the electricity connection, he/she will have to give it in writing along with the reason.

Har Ghar Bijli Yojana has been launched in the state to fulfill the promise of bettering power situation in the state and improving the overall lifestyle. The per capita consumption in Bihar has increased from 70 units in 2005 to 256.3 kilowatt hour units at present. The scheme will surely help brighten many homes and contribute to the overall development of the state of Bihar.
