Will the Minister of PANCHAYATI RAJ be pleased to state:
(a) the scheme-wise details of the funds including the names of the Heads to the State Government of Chhattisgarh during the last five years under 14th Finance Commission;
(b) whether the State Government of Chhattisgarh has sent the details of the allocated amount under various schemes provided by the 14th Finance Commission to the Central Government and the details thereof; and
(c) the copy of the audit report made on the expenditure incurred in the State of Chhattisgarh under the 14th Finance Commission and the details of the redressal of audit objections?

(a) & (b) Year-wise details of allocation and release of Fourteenth Finance Commission (FFC) Grants to the State Government of Chhattisgarh for Gram Panchyats is as given below :

FFC Grants are to be used to improve the status of basic services including water supply, sanitation including septage management, sewerage and solid waste management, storm water drainage, maintenance of community assets, maintenance of roads, footpaths and street-lighting, and burial and cremation grounds, and any other basic service within the functions assigned to them under relevant legislations Panchayats.
(c) “Panchayat”, being “Local Government”, is a State subject and part of State list of Seventh Schedule of Constitution of India. Audit of expenditure and redress of audit objections are taken up by the respective State Government, as it comes within their purview.
