Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2021
Punjab state government has launched “Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2021“, a new initiative to provide cheaper and quality education to meritorious & poor students. Under the scheme, the state government would provide fee waiver to as per the percentage of marks obtained by students in class 10th / ITI.
Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2021 – Objectives
The objective of the Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme is to financially help and encourage the poor meritorious students for pursuing higher education. The government aims to fulfill the promise of cheaper and quality education for poor through the Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme.
Tuition Fee Waiver in Punjab CM Scholarship Scheme
Following is the percentage of fee waiver which would be provided to students basis on 10th / ITI percentage under Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2021:-

Punjab CM Scholarship Scheme Tuition Fee Waiver
Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2021 would also boost the number of admissions in government engineering colleges and polytechnics across the state.
Institutions under Punjab CM Scholarship Scheme
CM Scholarship Scheme would be applicable to those students who are the residents of Punjab and are studying in any of the following institutions
- Government polytechnic & engineering colleges
- Maharaja Ranjit Singh University, Bhatinda
- I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
Need for Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme
Until now, the number of admissions in these government run colleges have been very low and many seats remain vacant every year. Since the scheme would provide tuition fee waiver, it will definitely attract admissions in these colleges/institutions.
