2. In the Ministry of Water Resources, Command Area Development (Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2013,-
(a) in rule 1, in sub-rule (1), for the words ‘‘Ministry of Water Resources’’, the words Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation’’ shall be substituted;
(b) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
‘‘2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of the said posts, their classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.’’;
(c) in the Schedule,-
(i) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Commissioner (Command Area Development), in column (11) (a)
(ii) for the words, figures and brackets ‘‘Level 13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 118500- 214000)’’, the words, figures and brackets “Level 13 in the pay matrix (123100-215900)’’ shall be substituted;
(ii) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Senior Joint Commissioner (Agricultural Discipline), incolumn (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

Level 13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 123100-215900)’’; |
(ii) serial number 3 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
