Aatmanirbhar rojgar yojana is a new initiative started by the Indian government. As per the latest news update, this program is extended till 31st March 2022.
Indian Finance Minister, Mrs. Nirmala Sitaraman, announced Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana on 1st October 2020. The scheme’s main objective is to make the people self-reliant by providing them jobs and employment opportunities. Mrs. Niramala Sitaraman has once again made interesting comments regarding the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar employment program. She has now announced that the scheme is extended up to 31st March 2022. Aatmanirbhar Baharat Rojgar Scheme has already benefited around 22 Lakh beneficiaries, and it created more vacuum for the new beneficiaries to avail of the benefits of the scheme.
Features of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Scheme
Let us see the features of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Employment Scheme launched by the central government in 2020.
- The EPF members holding Universal Account Number (UAN) drawing monthly wage of less than Rs. 15000, who made an exit from employment during Covid pandemic from 01.03.2020 to 30.09.2020 and did not join employment in any EPF covered establishment up to 30.09.2020 is also eligible to avail benefit.
- The ABRY scheme covers establishments registered with EPFO if they add new employees compared to the reference base of employees as in September 2020.
- An excess of 10,000 Crore Rupees is added to Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana in relevance to this scheme.
- Under the scheme, fully guaranteed and collateral-free loans are provided to small and micro-enterprises.
Benefits of the Self-Reliant India Employment Scheme

- Under this scheme, the central government bears both employee’s share (12% of Wages) and employers’ share (12% of Wages) of contribution payable.
- The last date of registrations for the eligible employers and new employees is by 31st March 2022.
- The employee drawing a monthly wage of less than Rs. 15000, who was not working in any establishment registered with the EPFO before 1st October 2020 and did not have a Universal Account Number or EPF Member account number before 1st October 2020 are eligible for the benefit under this scheme.
How to Apply Online for Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana, Registration Form 2021
Let us see the online procedure to apply for the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana.
For Employer:
- Visit the Official Portal of EPF India.
- It takes the online applicants to the Home Page below.
- Click on the Services section in the Menu Bar.
- It then displays the dropdown with different options.
- Choose and select the For Employers option.
- Click on the Online Registration from the services section.
- It then redirects the online applicants to the below Login Page.
- Click on the Signup button on the following page.
- Enter the Name, Email, Mobile Number, and Verification Code.
- Click on the Signup button.
- It then sends an activation link to the registered mail id given by you.
- Open the mail and click on the Click Here button to activate the account.
- Enter the Verification Code and Click on the Generate OTP button.
- It then sends the OTP to the Registered Mail ID.
- Go to the Email and Copy the OTP generated.
- Enter the Copied OTP in the respective field and click on the Verify OTP, as shown below.
- It then opens a new page in which the online users should enter the User Name, Password, and Confirm Password.
- Click on the submit button.
- Go back to the Login Page and Enter the Login Credentials to Login into the portal.
- Now, the applicants can avail of the different services like Apply for New LIN, LIN Status, and Registration for EPFO-ESIC, Registration for CLC etc.
For Employee:
- Visit the Official Portal of EPF India.
- It takes the online applicants to the Home Page below.
- Click on the Services section in the Menu Bar.
- It then displays the dropdown with different options.
- Choose and select the For Employee option.
- The employees can avail of the different services like Member Passbook, Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP), OCS / UMANG – FAQs / Eligibility, Know Your Claim Status, EPFiGMS (Register your Grievance), Fillable Application Form for COC, Pensioner’s Portal and One Employee – One EPF Account.
- Please remember that the employees should provide the Login Credentials to avail of any of the services.
