Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-
(a) Whether the Government/NBCC has constructed huge number of Government flats at East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi to cater the housing problem of Government employees and if so, the details thereof, type-wise.
(b) The details of facilities being provided to allottees of these flats for quality life;
(c) whether the Government has assessed the amenities being provided to allottees of newly constructed flats and the satisfaction level of the allottees and if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the Government/NBCC has taken note that a numerous complaints lodged by allotees are not resolved in time due to unavailability of required items and if so, the details thereof including the corrective measures taken in this regard; and
(e) the details of future action plan chalked out by the Government/NBCC to facilitate better amenities like maintenance of flats, smooth operation of lifts, security of towers, cleanliness etc. in view of huge number of flats constructed in the locality?

(a) NBCC has constructed 4,608 housing units at East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi to cater to the housing requirement of Government employees. The type-wise number of flats constructed are as follows:
