(a) the number of the beneficiaries identified under Housing for All by 2022 in Kerala, district-wise;
(b) whether the Government has considered the loss of houses during the flash floods of 2018 in Kerala which destroyed large number of houses leaving the people house less; and
(c) whether the Government is also considering for increasing of the financial limits for EWS, LIG and MIG categories from the prevailing yardstick to avail the PMAY(U) benefits and if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?
(b) Considering the stress situation due to heavy floods of 2018 in Kerala, central assistance of Rs. 492.95 crore was released to the State Government as first and second installments together for construction of houses sanctioned under PMAY (U), by relaxing the conditions for release as a special case. Simultaneously, the State Government of Kerala was also advised to send project proposals for consideration under the scheme including for those who were affected by the flood.
(c) No Sir; there is no such proposal under consideration of the Government.
