Based on the project proposals received so far from the States/UTs, a total 96,50,191 houses have been sanctioned in 4510 cities under the Scheme; out of this, 56,36,806 are at various stages of construction and 28,60,468 are completed/delivered. - (a) the number of cities selected for construction of affordable houses under various stages of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, State-wise;
- (b) whether the target to select 100 cities to be included in the first phase of the said yojana has been achieved;
- (c) if so, the number of housing units constructed or being constructed thereunder in the first phase;
- (d) whether the Government follows the specific quality norms for the construction of houses; and
- (e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor along with the remedial measures taken in this regard?
