Subject:    Request for submission of proposals for organising Gender Budgeting Training                                   Programmes in collaboration with the State Governments, National and State Level                             Training Institutions during the year 2019-20 – reg

Madam / Sir,

                   I am directed to say that the Ministry of Women and Child Development being the Nodal Ministry for Gender Budgeting has been organising various training programmes and workshops on Gender Budgeting over the last few years in collaboration with various Government Training Institutes in the country. With the ongoing training programmes of the Ministry, many States/UTs have undertaken Gender Budgeting initiatives with different methodologies and in some cases have developed effective gender mainstreaming frameworks in planning and budgeting.

2.               In this connection, proposals are invited from the State Governments/UT Administrations as wel] as National and State Level Training Institutions for organising Gender Budgeting workshops during the year 2019-20. A copy of the Guidelines for Submitting proposals under Gender Budgeting Scheme is available on the Ministry’s website at http://wed.nic.in/schemes/ gender-budgeting-scheme. The Ministry would provide financial support for organising training programmes/workshops during the financial year 2019-20 subject to submission of UC, SoE, Course Report and Unspent Amount, if any from any previous training programmes organised under this Scheme. It is requested to kindly follow the guidelines exactly and provide component-wise financial implications, bank details and agency details along with the proposal.

3.               It is, therefore, requested that interested States /UTs and Institutions may send proposals for organising maximum of 4 training programmes/workshops on Gender Budgeting to the following address and and also send soft copy to the email address on or before 5th April, 2019.
