PM at Prayagraj: inaugurates new Airport Complex, Integrated Command and Control Centre for Kumbh Mela; launches development projects
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today inaugurated a new Airport Complex, and an Integrated Command and Control Centre for the Kumbh Mela, at Prayagraj.
The Prime Minister also performed Ganga Pujan, and visited the Swachh Kumbh Exhibition. He visited the Akshay Vat in Prayagraj. He also dedicated to the nation, inaugurated, or laid the Foundation Stone for various development projects at Andawa in Prayagraj.
Addressing a large gathering, he announced that pilgrims for the Ardh-Kumbh this time will also be able to visit the Akshay Vat. He said the Government is making every effort to ensure good connectivity to Prayagraj. He said the projects dedicated today, would help both infrastructure and connectivity. He said the new airport terminal had been completed in a record time of one year.
The Prime Minister said that every effort is being made to ensure a unique experience for devotees coming for the Ardh-Kumbh. He said the effort is to showcase India’s glorious past, and vibrant future.
The Prime Minister said that the Government is also working to ensure a clean Ganga. He said the sewage treatment plants and beautification of Ghats would go a long way in this regard.
The Prime Minister described the Kumbh as a symbol of India and Indianness. He said it unites us, and gives a glimpse of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat. He said that the organisation of the Kumbh is not just a matter of faith, but also a matter of prestige, and every visitor to the Kumbh should be well taken care of. He said the Ardh-Kumbh would show how ‘New India’ encompasses both heritage and modernity.
The Prime Minister said that he wishes to caution the country that certain forces are trying to put undue pressure on the judiciary. He said these elements consider themselves to be above all institutions.पत्र सूचना कार्यालय

प्रधानमंत्री ने प्रयागराज में एक नए हवाई अड्डा परिसर एवं कुंभ मेले के लिए समेकित कमान एवं नियंत्रण केन्द्र का उद्घाटन किया; विकास परियोजनाएं आरम्भ कीं
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज प्रयागराज में एक नए हवाई अड्डा परिसर और कुंभ मेले के लिए समेकित कमान एवं नियंत्रण केन्द्र का उद्घाटन किया।
प्रधानमंत्री ने गंगा पूजन भी किया तथा स्वच्छ कुंभ प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने प्रयागराज में अक्षय वट का भी दौरा किया। उन्होंने प्रयागराज के अंडावा में भी विभिन्न विकास परियोजनाओं को राष्ट्र के नाम समर्पित किया, उनका उद्घाटन किया या शिलान्यास किया।
एक विशाल जनसमूह को संबंधित करते हुए उन्होंने घोषणा की कि इस बार अर्द्ध कुंभ के तीर्थयात्री अक्षय वट की यात्रा करने में भी सक्षम हो पाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार प्रयागराज के लिए अच्छा संपर्क सुनिश्चित करने का हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिन परियोजनाओं को आज समर्पित किया गया वे बुनियादी ढ़ांचे एवं संपर्क दोनों की सहायता करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि नये हवाई अड्डा टर्मिनल का निर्माण एक वर्ष के रिकार्ड समय में पूरा कर लिया गया था।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि अर्द्ध कुंभ आने वाले भक्तों के लिए एक अनूठा अनुभव सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के गौरवशाली अतीत और गतिशील भविष्य को प्रदर्शित करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार स्वच्छ गंगा सुनिश्चित करने पर भी कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस संबंध में सीवेज उपचार संयंत्र एवं घाटों के सौन्दर्यीकरण की बड़ी भूमिका होगी।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कुंभ की भारत एवं भारतीयता के एक प्रतीक के रूप में व्याख्या की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह हमें एकजुट करता है और एक भारत, स्वच्छ भारत की झलक प्रस्तुत करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि कुंभ का आयोजन केवल विश्वास की बात नहीं है बल्कि यह सम्मान की भी बात है और कुंभ जाने वाले प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का अच्छी तरह ध्यान रखा जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि अर्द्ध कुंभ प्रदर्शित करेगा कि किस प्रकार ‘नवीन भारत’ विरासत एवं आधुनिकता दोनों को समावेशित करता है।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि वह देश को सावधान करना चाहते हैं कि कुछ तत्व न्यायपालिका पर अनुचित दबाव बनाने के प्रयास कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे तत्व अपने को सभी प्रकार के संस्थानों से ऊपर समझते हैं।
